Upholding Professionalism, Integrity and Trust

The APCC Code of Conduct sets the standard for how our members operate — in practice, in partnership, and in principle. It reflects the shared values that define professional compliance consultancy: integrity, fairness, and accountability. Every Corporate and Affiliate Member agrees to uphold these principles as part of their commitment to ethical conduct, continual improvement, and the responsible delivery of compliance advice.

// Our Commitments in Practice

All Corporate Members and Affiliate Members agree to abide by our Code of Conduct.

1. We Earn Trust

We believe trust is earned. Through honesty, openness, and consistency. Member Firms act with integrity in every decision, every conversation, and every representation of their work.

2. We Stay Grounded and Fair

Sound judgment requires self-awareness. We check our biases, declare our interests, and make space for fairness in all situations, even when it’s hard.

3. We Keep Growing

Excellence is not a fixed point. Member Firms stay curious, capable, and committed to continuous learning, for themselves, their teams, and their clients. Competence isn’t just a requirement; it’s a mindset.

4. We Respect the Privilege of Trust

Information shared with us is not just data, it is confidence placed in our hands. We handle it with care, uphold confidentiality, and never misuse it.

5. We Raise the Standard

We aim higher. In the way we treat people, solve problems, and represent our profession. We comply with requirements, but we also look to lead by example, contributing to a culture that is respectful, principled, and progressive.

6. We Respect Each Other

Professionalism starts with humanity. We speak and act with respect. We value difference, listen well, and treat everyone — colleagues, clients, and competitors — with dignity.
