At the APCC, our members are at the heart of everything we do. As the leading trade body for FCA and PRA compliance consultants, we are committed to ensuring that the Association continues to evolve in line with the needs of our membership and the wider regulatory landscape.
One of the most important ways we achieve this is through our Member Feedback Forum (MFF).
What is the Member Feedback Forum?
The Member Feedback Forum gives APCC members a direct opportunity to influence the day-to-day development of the Association. It acts as a bridge between the membership and the Executive Team, ensuring that ideas, feedback and practical experience from across our community help shape decisions and future initiatives.
The Forum represents the voice of our members, bringing together professionals from different sectors and firms to discuss what matters most. Whether it’s improving member services, identifying emerging issues, or suggesting new opportunities, the MFF provides a dedicated platform for meaningful dialogue.
Importantly, the Forum feeds directly into the Executive Team and presents at Board meetings, ensuring that member feedback reaches the highest level of the Association’s decision-making process. This structure reinforces the APCC’s commitment to being a member-led organisation that listens, responds and continuously improves.
Why Member Feedback Matters
The compliance landscape never stands still. New regulation, evolving technologies and changing client expectations mean that our profession is constantly adapting.
The APCC has long been recognised for providing a collaborative environment where members can share expertise, engage with regulators and contribute to the development of professional standards. The Member Feedback Forum strengthens this commitment by ensuring that members play an active role in shaping the Association’s priorities and activities.
Every suggestion, challenge and idea shared through the Forum helps us to:
- Improve the services and benefits we offer members.
- Identify emerging topics and industry challenges.
- Enhance events, resources and professional development opportunities.
- Strengthen our engagement with regulators and other stakeholders.
- Ensure the APCC remains relevant, responsive and representative of the profession.
A Collaborative Approach
The success of the Member Feedback Forum is made possible by a dedicated core group of members who generously give their time, expertise and experience to represent the wider membership. Their willingness to engage in open discussion, provide honest feedback and contribute thoughtful ideas ensures the Forum remains a valuable source of insight for the Association.
This commitment reflects the collaborative spirit that has always been at the heart of the APCC. By sharing their knowledge and perspectives, the Forum’s members help shape improvements that benefit the entire membership and strengthen the profession as a whole.
Chief Membership Officer Gabby Holloway, who attends each Forum meeting, sees first-hand the value these conversations bring.
“The Member Feedback Forum gives us an invaluable opportunity to hear directly from our members about what’s important to them. The discussions are always thoughtful, constructive and forward-looking, and they play a key role in helping us ensure the APCC continues to deliver real value for our membership. I’d also like to thank the dedicated members of the Forum who volunteer their time and expertise. Their commitment, insight and willingness to share their experiences are what make these discussions so valuable. Listening to our members isn’t just something we do—it’s fundamental to how we develop as an Association.”
