30 Jun FCA finds weaknesses in ‘host’ Authorised Fund Management firms’ governance and operations

We have received the following from the FCA today;

Today we’ve published a review of Authorised Fund Managers (AFMs) that delegate investment management to third parties.

 While some firms were operating well, others did not meet our standards and we found weaknesses in firms’ governance structures, conflicts of interest management and operational controls.

 All AFMs and host AFMs should review our findings and act. We would be grateful if you could share the review with your members and among your networks.
